With all online events, ‘non-chaotic’ means (IMHO) moderated by someone other than the speaker (come to think of it, that applies to in-person events just as much). Zoom has the ‘raise hand’ function which means the moderator can come to each statement-disguised-as-a-question in turn. At the IETF plenary a couple of weeks back people just put ‘+q’ in the Webex chat box to add themselves to the queue. If we did get more people than average participating, that would be a pleasant surprise. Cheers, Rob
