Ooh, now where do I start?

The major overall issue is that the billing side of things is limited and
inflexible. If you want to take automatic payments then really the only option
is Stripe. Even then, it will only automatically collect the standard monthly
recurring billing. If you want to vary it, by applying a service credit or
invoicing a new bit of hardware for example, then that won't be taken into
account at all.

Another big thing we found was inconsistencies in the billing. When we moved to
Stripe we found a chunk of customers (probably 10-15 in total) who UCRM had
stopped invoicing and collecting payments for around 18 months prior, as well
as a handful that for some odd reason had been overbilled.

To be honest it was a handy platform when we started up and had no budget at
all for that sort of thing, but it rapidly became more of a hindrance than a
help and just wasn't up to the job for an expanding company.

Yes, we used it. Simple advice - don't.

If you need a WISP billing platform, look at Splynx.

Subject: [uknof] Ubiquiti UNMS

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone is using the Ubiquiti UNMS CRM platform in anger?

A first glance is suggesting it might be too good to be true for a free
platform, but I'm open minded!

Thanks
