[UM-LINUX] Modem configuring

Hi All,
        Can you point/ guide me to installing the drivers for my modem
on Dell 700m, the modem information as per lspci is 
Modem: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97
Modem Controller (rev 03). I found information about linmodem but I am
not able to get it to work. I am running Fedora Core 4 on a
2.6.12-1.1390_FC4 kernel
