[UM-LINUX] Ipod on Linux

My Archos mp3 player bit the dust and I am considering getting an iPod
mini as a replacement.  Looking through web posts, it looks like Linux
support for the iPods is decent: anyone have any big gotchyas that I
should be aware of?
