Mac IE was my favorite browser on Mac OS 9 (because of problems with Mozilla before Mac OS X). It does not know VBScript nor VML. It seems that most ActiveX controls are not ported to Mac OS. Mac IE and Windows IE share some Microsoft-specific stuff in the DOM (such as document.all), but Konqueror also has some of that. I have Konqueror identify itself as Mac IE 5 on some sites. - George Koehler
