Actually, an interesting meta-project would be to document how to help/write/document open source projects - is this what you're getting at? I could definitely get behind that. One can imagine including: 0) About OpenSource (philiosophy, etc.) 1) cvs/svn tutorials 2) sourceforge and advogato tutorials 3) latex/nroff/info tutorials for documentation 4) auto* tutorials 5) portable Makefile writing 6) portable code writing anything else? I think if we were to have a single place/document (in what ever medium) where all of these things recorded, that would be a very nice project. Thoughts? I'm going to be doing a LaTeX lecture at some point this year, so I can volunteer to do (2). Most of these things are already written around the net, so it could just be a matter of asking permission to copy existing documents and adding specific OpenSource examples. - Rob . PS Or, people could just add nice features, like a GUI, to my Slurpie project (http://slurpie.sourceforge.net).
