Work *slowly*. Use the finest tipped soldering iron you can find. Heat sink is a good idea too. Do not do the job impulsively... laptop innards are delicate. Basically, be cautious and you'll be fine. Don't be like me and try to do a half-ass job quickly. (My laptop now has a row of dead pixels as a result of a fairly botched attempt to repair the screen hinges.) Dan
