If I were you, I would just get a TV-in card for my laptop, or something similar that you could use to hook your existing laptop screen up to your headless desktop. I've had reasonable luck with the USB ones, and you aren't going to get smaller then that. No clue re: small monitors, but generally you pay a premium for something smaller then 12", so I would guess it's a road you would rather not go down. - Rob .
