Hi again,

I just want to say that the work can become complex as you wish.
So the question is: is it have some return to organization, network
administrators, security communities,etc ?

Of course Umit Project are waiting for a non-trivial propose to make this
quick-scans and it should involves engineering thoughts.

The idea consists in have a quickly scan. So the goal isn't bring more
options, otherwise we will increase the complex level of usability. So the
challenge it helps users without extra options.
I'll take an example: some years ago, we din't think how you could help
users writing the URL. Firefox 3 have some news and now all have a better
scenario.

One of the "tasks"in the idea is a dashboard. What kinds of widgets can a
student develops to dashboard?
- With a specific nse script to get Autonomous Systems mapping based on IP's
and display it with flags, etc.
- Developing new NSE scripts useful in network discovery or something else
and integrate it with easy calls by a widget (consequently contribute to the
Nmap Community - it's good too)
- Why not interact with a nvd(National Vulnerabilite Database)? Is it
someone else implement it? Doesn't matter. We can put students interact with
each others.
- etc...

By the way, during selection process mentor organization can talk with
students and ask them to improve the proposal, descrive more detailed the
project, and add new features.
----

However I am aware that there are something aspects ambiguous and not so
clearly. But if Umit Project write something more then would do the
student's job.

Best Regards,
