The .NET framework is not needed for everyone,
but much ppl need that. E.g. all ATI-Drivers are based on .NET 2.0
or (some older versions) on .NET 1.1.
Several programs are based on the .NET architekture.
I didn't want it, but I couldn't come around.

All Programs which need .NET have the installpackages linked or added,
but it saves time if it's already installed.
