I do not use parted or I actually always use the whole disk, 
or perhaps I do use, but dont know it, so no problems for me there.
(remember I am a linux newbie) I did a find and got libparted-1.8.so.8

ctrl C
cd /etc
./master
Now, the network works, the mount cif works
but parted always fails    libparted-1.6.so.12 not found
Can you choose the partitionning ?
