In Fedora core 8, the kernel is 2.6.24.4 and the network driver Optiplex 755 works Furthermore, I have exactly the same problem with Dell XPS 1330. It freezes after Dhcp discover. Ctrl C cd /etc and ./master restart the installation. Perhaps, the problem is with the compiling options of the kernel ?
