Bonita Remember Peter's post where he was teaching science content AND reading process?They were integrated and maybe it is not required to separate them and teach optimally. I wonder if the teaching of strategies is the process and then teaching the nature of understanding---what it is and what it looks like---is showing students the product that comes from using the process.
