Hi Pierre. Trying to follow your suggestion in tagging the fonts, I've found several problems: it seems like that if you don't keep selected (default) the tag you've just added in the Edit/Tag All... dialog, the next time you open the same dialog, the tag has gone. Instead if you keep it selected all the fonts will have it set. Same for the tag added via the Font Information/tags box: but you find that the tag has gone right after you restarted the program. This seems also the only way to delete a tag(?). I understand that I had to import and tag the fonts immediately, and then you do not usually touch them, but if I want to create a new category or refine another one, or creating a temp category, this method - if you intended to do this, makes things harder to be done, or -anyway- can lead to bad things... There should be a way to add/edit/delete in the Tags Dialog. If I misunderstood your intentions tell me what's wrong.
