Argh, finally someone discovered that this "Tag All" feature was buggy! I’m really sorry about that, it mainly comes that I don’t use it. I’ll try to fix it tomorrow. Note that it’s not trivial since I have to take a decision about preserving or not the tags yet attached to a font. > Instead if you keep it selected all the > fonts will have it set. Here I would bet that you try to tag system fonts & these fonts are not part of the DB, I’ll have to make it more clear. > This seems also the only way to delete a tag(?). The only known(by me!) way to delete a tag is to make it completely unused and not even part of a tag collection. > I understand that I had to import and tag the fonts immediately, and then > you do not usually touch them, but if I want to create a new category or > refine another one, or creating a temp category, this method - if you > intended to do this, makes things harder to be done, or -anyway- can lead > to bad things... There should be a way to add/edit/delete in the Tags > Dialog. > If I misunderstood your intentions tell me what's wrong. Hehe, bear in mind that Fontmatrix is _so_ young yet and there is much to ask for than what’s in it :) Here is how I work, and at least it works here - http://www.fontmatrix.net/tmp/fm_tagging.ogv What’s not shown is that I tag fonts at import time of course. But if you want it to work another way, and it does not involve a truckload of work (though if it’s really a great idea, I’ll do it anyway :)) or prevent me to do it as I want, I’ll write it! > > ciao See you soon -- Pierre Marchand http://www.oep-h.com _______________________________________________ Undertype-users mailing list Undertype-users@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/undertype-users
