Tamil glyphs

Hello,   How can I compose the Tamil character n.aa?   Unicode seems to suggest using the combination: 0BA3+0BBE (NNA+AA). However the resulting representation of the digraph is not the one found in litterature. There are other characters too in the Tamil alphabet that cannot be represented.   Best regards,   Erik.
