Hmmm. A little research reveals that these two are actually the same. Apparently they are both slightly modified versions of the transliteration known as DMG, originally proposed by the German Oriental Society (Deutsche Morgenl�ndische Gesellschaft, or DMG). | and even a British standard, BS 4280, This seems to be different, and is apparently not widely used.
