John, please don't assume that I use private-use codepoints the same way
someone else does without first verifying. My document contained neither a
Latin ligature "ct" not Shavian letter CHURCH, but rather my most
delightful LATIN LIGATURE IN WITH SWASH SERIF AND TAIL.
