> What is the Unicode support for NuShu, planned or extant? CJK symbols, > Bopomofo unification, something else?
Something else. NuShu (or Nshu) is periodically "discovered" and raised for discussion on this list. There is a block set aside in the Roadmap for Plane 1 for it: http://www.unicode.org/roadmaps/smp/ See 1B000..1B5FF. But to date there is no formal proposal for encoding, nor any indication that anyone is seriously working on one. By the way, if there is *any* significant information about an as-yet-unencoded modern or historic script, it is fairly likely that the Roadmap already contains some indication of that fact and a tentative estimate of script size and allocational position: http://www.unicode.org/roadmaps/index.html So those charts are always a good place to start checking when wanting to know what the status of some obscure script might be in Unicode. --Ken
