Thanks for this information. I tried it out on a one-page document and was
able to get the result
to compile (with latex) after a few additions to my TEXINPUTS variable.
So...depending on how robust the export capability is, it might be possible
to convert the
Unicon book to latex, if we felt doing so would add substantial value. With
the switch away
from MS Word, there were substantial questions of whether the formatting and
images would
be preserved correctly (2-3 supposed Word-compatible processors failed this
before
OpenOffice passed the test). I guess some more testing of the OpenOffice
export-to-latex
option is warranted.
