As I was starting to do a new build, I realized what your problem is.
Do NOT
make X-Configure name="x86_32_linux"
There are changes in the source which have to be applied after
the make Configure step. If you do make Configure, you will
overwrite the changes which I have made.
So -- start again. Unzip in a new UHOME directory, and
export PATH=UHOME/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin
make Unicon
P.S. If you are running on Windows 8.1, you do not have to
make Unicon. The binaries are already in UHOME/bin.
You might need to use patchstr, as described by Bruce Rennie.

Your errors look like what I was getting before my last changes
I suggest:
1) delete "#define LoadFunc" from UHOME/src/h
2)set PATH to UHOME/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin
UHOME is the home directory of your new Unicon source.
I will also try another build, and tell you what I find.

Hello Richard! I've tried to build unicon on cygwin x86 for Windows 8.1 with
help of your sources. I used configuration for x86_32_linux and got error.
Compiler reported about undefined referencies "coswitch" and "syserr" in
rswitch.s.Then I tried to modify rswitch.s to rswitch.c with single
