HELLO GUYS,I REFURBISHED MY SLIDING DOOR AS WELL, SAME THUMP BY THE WAY,SMALL DEPRESSION IN RAIL,ASSUME IT ACTS AS SOME SORT OF STOP.AT ANY RATE,ONE OF OUR LOCAL GLASS STORES SOLD ME SOME VERY EXPENSIVE CANS OF SPRAY PAINT FOR THE FRAME I TAPED OFF THE GLASS AND IT LOOKS BRAND NEW.DONT KNOW WHAT IS IN IT,BUT THEY USE IT FOR SAME PURPOSE.IT HAS HELD UP WONDERFULLY.I TINTED THE GLASS AND AM VERY HAPPY.NO PROBLEM WITH SUPPORT UP TOP AT ALL.IF INTERESTED I WILL LOOK FOR THE CANS THIS WEEKEND.IT IS NOT A PRODUCT I HAVE EVER SEEN ANYWHERE,BUT IT SURE WORKS.
