You should also bear in mind that exceeding your tow vehicles rated
capacity may be grounds for your insurance company to deny any claim
arising from an accident. So you're literally risking everything you
own every time you tow your boat. Plus, if you're in a really high-
profile accident and wipe out a school bus load of second graders,
you'll probably be facing second-degree murder charges for criminally
negligent homicide. It's one thing to put your own lives at risk by
overloading a tow vehicle; it's another thing altogether to risk the
lives of every one else on the highway. Get an appropriate tow
vehicle or stay off the road.
