I am also painting 36' boat. I am NOT going to paint the hull above the waterline. I am going to try to buff out the gel coat. The stripes and all top sides are getting painted.
I decided to go with Interlux brand paint. I got the brightside product in white for the topsides and flag blue for the stripes. I hired a local auto paint shop guy on the side to do the boat for me. He said $150 and a case of beer would be good payment. He is going to do it with pot sprayers and brushes in small areas. I have no idea how the interlux paints will work. i have never used them before. I will let you know when I am done. Thanks, Victor On Mar 23, 10:59 pm, boatguy51 <[email protected]> wrote: > I need suggestions....I have decided to paint my boat.I was planning > on having it done but have sence decided to do it myself.I am looking > for some suggestions as far as what paint would be best and which > method of applying the paint will work best.I was told to apply the > paint with a paint pot sprayer because of the large area. Thanks for > your info. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "UnifliteWorld" group.
