I have a 1960 17' Uniflite runabout with a 50HP outboard.  It's
perfect for the boat.  One thing I suggest you check is the transom
for dryrot; it is a common problem with these boats.  The way to do it
is to take an awl and try to shove in several place on the inside of
the transom, especially along the bottom.  If it has dryrot, don't
despair, it can be fixed.
