I wanted to say that I have a 42 and had the same leak problem. Removed the aluminum framework, didn't remove the old caulking but I did use a marine grade silicon, has not leaked in a year now. I live in BC and there has been a few good rain storms in amongst the regular rainy days here and I have had no leaks. Monty

Over that is aluminum framing that is screwed to the deck. I had a very similar leak and it turned out the caulking had come apart and water was getting under the aluminum framing and through the crack where the caulk came apart. It took me forever to find. I pulled all the aluminum framing off, used a heat gun to get rid of all the old crap and then re-caulked the whole thing. Haven't had a leak since.
