When I got my boat I happened across a set of tags in the "sale bin" at the local boat parts store. It was for every 30 feet.
I have been used to the 30 feet increments and like how it works for getting a simple set of the proper scope. Also added a set of zip ties to the chain just above the anchor so that as the anchor is approaching the surface we get a heads up 1-zip, near surface 2-zips, now at waterline 3-zips. This is very helpful for the newbie at the anchor windless who needs to slow down and set it right on the bow roller. Now 3 years later half the chain and road markers are warn off. So nice to read all these comments. It gives me ideas as to what to paint on my line for my next upgrade/project on my anchoring system. My marks: zips for 5/10/15 and Tags 30 - 60 - 90 - 120 - 150 - 180 - 210 - 240 - 270 - 300 Sincerely, Keith <">< > To: "UnifliteWorld" <[email protected]> > > I use 4 different combination of colors and never seem to remember > what they mean without referring to my cheat sheet. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "UnifliteWorld" group.
