I replaced my carpet last winter and used the existing tackless strips. I
suggest you carefully remove and id the old carpet and cut out the new using
the old as patterns.

Subject: [UnifliteWorld] Carpet replacement

I need to replace the 20 year old carpet in my salon and aft cabin. I
urrently have the old traditional carpet with padding and tack strips
ust like at home. I would like to try to do it myself but have no
xperience. It looks tricky with the heavy engine hatch covers,
tairs, 4 shaft access covers in the aft cabin floor etc. The only
ood thing is the relatively small square footage. I also will be
overing 90% of the salon with another area rug.
ny suggestions? Should I not attempt this and just hire it done? What
ould be good carpet materials to use? Glue? Tack strips? Carpet
iles?

ny help would be appreciated.
