I had my gas tanks on my 32;SS cleaned and the old fuel filtered several times and replaced. This is how it was done. The guy had a portable multi-stage fuel filtering system that he set on the ground next to my boat and powered from a genny in the back of his truck. He put two hoses down the the filler neck of my tank. One hose pumped the fuel out and ran thru the filtering system and pumped back into the tank thru the other hose which had a pressure spray nozzel on it that sprayed the fuel around inside the tank. He did this for about 30 min. continuously on each tank. Each tank had about 25 gals of gas.
This was done about 3 yrs. ago and I have had no fuel related problems since. Cost was $180.00 if I remember right.
