Yeah, my 27 express twin definitely needs the tabs. She planes out
just fine, but they are nice for ride leveling and putting the entry
of the bow in just the right spot going into a head-sea chop. If you
are going to the effort to repower, adding tabs will be no big deal.

Actually, I'm surprised that the boat hasn't had tabs added sometime
already.
