Hi, two ways to go rebuild , or new. I have a 32 SS when it was time for
engines I went all new engines and V drives . . I decided unless you do
everything when rebuilding , starters , manifolds , and transmission you can
still have problems, of course this will cost more but if you are going to keep
the boat , you will have years of trouble free boating , to me thats what I
wanted it has been three years since I repowered ,with regular maintenance I
have had trouble free boating makes my better half very happy , good luck which
ever way you go.
