I have a 1984 42 SE II in which the port engine was replace by a previous
owner. I can tell the old engine was removed and the replacement was installed
through the port window. My engines are V8 diesels, but there is a 42 with
454s
that has been for sale in my area for about three years. I thought that was
strange also, but I guess gas was an option.

Subject: [UnifliteWorld] Engine replacement

I have a 1984 42foot double cabin with gas motors. Just wondering what the
replacement procedure for the engines is.
Port engine is in bad shape and need replacement. Thanks
