My McMurray windlass has stripped the main gear..I'm looking for a used windlass or any part thereof...its the gear that runs off the shaft gear of the electric motor...the big one on the shaft that turns the pulleys that the chain runs on.
anyone have an older one sitting in there yard or know where i might be able to find one???.. Im looking for an old one for two reasons, one is that i like the look of this winch and two I have been told you can not replace the gear, so if anyone could help me with someone who would be able to match up this gear that would be great. Thanks..short of that any second hand winches would be my last resort. a new one is over 2k and that's not in the cards at this time.
