Kerry, I disconnected the shift cable and it is very smooth. Now that 
everything has cooled down it is only slightly sticky coming out of reverse 
with the engine NOT running. I assume that with the engines not running I am 
only moving the selector valve assembly, is this right? Have you ever heard of 
anything like this? Couldn't work on much today because the grand kids were 
here. When I pull the screen, do I have to have the oil drained before I pull 
it out so as not to make a big mess in the bilges? Thanks, Bob.
