We are planning a cruise this fall from Lake Erie to SC on our 1984 46' Uniflite, PAX. Trying to determine if I need to install an inverter. I'm sure we'll be doing some anchoring out along the way. My only concern is powering the refrigerator, which runs off AC only - no DC switch-over. I don't relish running the generator all the time at anchor just to keep the refrigerator running. Are there other alternatives?
