If you have a full sized refrigerator, you will need at least a 1,500 watt inverter. Inverters are only about 85% efficient. A square sine wave inverter is OK for refrigerators. You don't need a pure sine wave inverter, which is way more expensive. If you're going to dedicate it to ONLY the 'frig you'll be OK. If you're going to wire it into the entire boat A/C system, I suggest a 3,000 watt inverter. A full sized refrigerator is a power hog. How many amp hours do your house batteries have? Bob C.
