Kerry:

Sorry for the delay in responding. It will take more than few beers as I
am about 30 miles north of Boston.

The windows should slide on a piece of plastic with felt on either side of
the channel. The channels have small screws through the bottom that hold
them in place. To access the screws, you need to move both windows to one
side and remove what is left of the plastic from the bottom of the channel
in the open area. There may be some felt in the bottom underneath the
plastic strip, but I do not recall. You should find one or two screw heads
which will need to be removed. Then, move both pieces of glass to the area
you just cleaned out and follow the same process on that end. Once you
have all of the screws removed, you can pull the channel or track outward,
being careful as you will be holding the weight of the two pieces of glass.
