I have a question concerning the water systems on a 46' Uniflite. It has to
do with switching between internal water tanks and external dock water. I
was told by a Hatteras owner that he has a pressure sensor that determines
if the boat is hooked up to shore water or not. If so, the fresh water pump
does not operate unless the shore water pressure drops excessively. I
question whether this is the way the Uniflite works. When I have the pump
turned on, even with shore water connected, when I open a faucet, the pump
runs. The shore water pressure seems to be fine. So, how does the Uniflite
system switch between internal water tanks and external shore water?
