Hi Erez, Do you know why RedHat doesn't have your patch with their kernel repositories?
I have checked their sites and they don't seem to include it anywhere! Regards, Victor Webber Engineer Principal - Software BAE Systems, Inc. Both myself and others here at BAE Systems looks forward to working with you in the future. Also, I want to share what I thought was a problem, but was actually just slow processing. When I ran the git command, the program hung at the message "initialized git repository". I thought this was an error and found many others dealing with this same problem through the web. However, I let my program run, and after an hour or so everything seemed to work. I can't help but wonder how many of the others on the web reporting this problem just need to be more patient. But if your site doesn't allow direct git access, I can see that an issue. Git clone http://git.fsl.cs.sunysb.edu/unionfs-2.6.32.y.git Try now. I reconfigured some things to permit http-based cloning. Also the kernel site does not work either git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/ezk/unionfs.git git clone http://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/ezk/unionfs.git There no longer a git repo on kernel.org<http://kernel.org>. I've updated the online instructions on http://unionfs.filesystems.org/ I know the URL is correct, it seems to be another problem. I believe our site prevents the pure git protocol from being used, however I have been able to do several other git clone operations using http and https. Does anyone have any insight into why I can't git clone? Regards, Victor Webber Engineer - Software Staff Baesystems, Inc.
