to strip 4 doors in our house. The cost (w/ pickup and delivery) was approximate $200 per door which included refinishing the doors after they had been stripped. I would assume that it would be cheaper if you are planning on refinishing them yourself, or are willing to drop them off and pick them up. Does anyone have a recommendation or even a contact for stripping doors by the dipping method? We have couple of painted doors and would prefer to farm them out than expose our daughter to the fumes of chemical stripped, not to mention the risks of lead exposure.
