I cross Baltimore Avenue [most often] at either 43rd, 44th or 45th. I find all the intersections to be dangerous to pedestrians. The crosswalk at 44th and Baltimore is particulalrly dangerous. 44th is one-way and dead-ends at the park. As people either rush to make the light they blindly make either a left or right. People also cut off the pedestrians or try to rush past them when the light first changes. I heard someone active in the SHCA say that they wanted to put "Please Yield to Pedestrian" signs up. They attributed the danger to pedestrians as ignorance of the law and lack of courtesy. In a message dated Wed, 29 Oct 2003 7:40:48 AM AEDT, "J.
