Fascinating claim to make, considering such precedents as the Code of Hammurabi, Roman law, Greek law, laws existant in civilizations utterly untouched by Christianity for hundreds of years, laws in Muslim countries, laws in Jewish communities, and the fact that Christians have never been a global majority.



I do believe we are talking about the government of the United States of America - or at least I was.



To me, the phrase "throughout history" includes that brief period prior to 1776.
