Our thanks to everybody who showed up at the Party. We had a good turnout and I hope we reached the fundraising threshold that we needed.

I haven't been following these issues closely for that many years, Frank, but it seems to me that public outcries about cleanliness and disorder in Clark Park have been peaking in November and again in April. That could be because there are often lots of people in the park on nice days during those months, generating extra litter and a sense of crowding. But the peak-season maintenance that both the Dept. of Recreation and Moon Site Mgmt. provide are based on a 6-month program, which targets May through October. So the park may feel a little ragged just at the beginning of the outdoor season, and again at the end. Life is like that sometimes. But who really knows?

At any rate, both Moon and the SMA are on the job now, and the park looked pretty nice last night. I hope it lasts.

Misguided as it may be ... I don't think I'm being either cynical or de-constructive.

The trash and the dogs really piss me off. Especially since I believe that no one else cares....
