To the list:
Can anyone enlighten me about where we stand on rules for dumping trash, Used furniture, etc. on the sidewalks?
If you pass by 4316 Pine, you can see a big accumulation of junk almost blocking the sidewalk. This morning (Saturday) I saw 4 guys Who would appear to be students alternately standing on the porch and carrying Out junk and then tossing it on the sidewalk. I have not seen these guys before – but, if they are moving IN, why would they be dumping stuff in such a large volume on the sidewalk in front of the house?
The piggish habits of lots of those renting on the 43rd-44th block of Pine make It one of the trashier parts of the neighborhood. If these 4 guys continue their Habit of treating the sidewalk like a dumpster, I anticipate that our sorry block Will be looking even more pathetically trashy.
Any ideas about how to deal with this problem? I would appreciate hearing them.
Thanks!
