Sometime last week somebody stole one of our trash cans. It's happened
before, we can only assume it'll keep happening every few years, despite the
fact that we had painted our address on it. So, with a sigh and a heavy
heart, we went about our business. Several days later, a mattress, two
chairs, and four bags of trash appear in front of the house -- despite the
fact that all of our previous dumping neighbors have moved out and as far as
we know, the place next door is vacant. So, with a sigh and a heavy heart,
we go back inside and I remind myself to take a photo of it on my way out
the next day just in case we get another ticket for it. So, Saturday
afternoon I grab my camera and go out on the front steps to photograph the
mattress, and, what the heck is that across the street? Our freaking trash
can, filled with someone elses construction debris. They even turned the
side with my address out, taunting me!
