Does anyone know the names of the individuals? There is nothing of value on the SHCA web site, and of course, the committee members aren't revealed. There is most likely a UCD executive staff member on it, and then there is Barry Grossbach. Who else?
In my years struggling with the other anointed gang, FOCP, I learned that periodically a reasonable, honest, human being ends up on these Boards. Perhaps, there is a possibility that such a human being is on the zoning committee of SHCA. I could beg this person to stand up for us and ask permission for us to participate with the "community" discussion about the hotel. I tried this with the revitalization of Clark Park in 2001 but failed completely. Sometimes my optimism gets me in trouble, but I can't give up hope before trying. Thanks in advance.
