If it is cable TV you are referring to, then unfortunately the only other options are Direct TV and Dish Network. Both are satellite providers and offer the same versions of Comcast's amenities. The downsides are frequent?outage during bad weather and cheesy/ primitive?customer service (and that's in comparison to Comcast's customer service) among other?minor issues. If you love to watch your Philly sports teams NOT win the big one then don't get these providers as they do not carry Comcast (the channel) which provides great coverage of average teams with cheap ownership (but that's another post).
If it is a?cable/T1,2 or 3 internet connection you refer to, the only other worthy?provider (that Im aware of) is Verizon. Verizon has great service (especially Fios - through my personal experiences)?but is expensive. Of course there?is always Earthlink and other providers?but I don't know much about these guys. -Sean -----Original Message----- From: Anthony West <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: UnivCity listserv <[email protected]> Sent: Thu, 20 Mar 2008 9:53 pm Subject: Re: Cable service: do we have a choice? Modern urban technology generates too many pigeons, just as it generates too much CO2. Messages we send by pigeon instead of internet will reduce our CO2 debt, since the pigeons are already there and require no further carbon combustion.? ? -- Tony West? ? > When I was a Campus Apartments renter I was limited to Campus > Technologies > for Internet.
