SHCA's published position on the hotel is perfectly reasonable. Until
pending litigation is settled, its Zoning Committee has no idea what
proposal will actually wind up before it. Why weigh in on a proposal
whose details later turn out no longer to exist? There are other things
to do and time is limited.
Sitting on committees is work ... uncompensated work, in this case.
People who haven't sat on them may have no idea how much work is
involved. Striking untimely poses is a waste of work.
If a project does emerge from the dust of litigation, that will be
SHCA's hour.

that we're even this far along without shca having said NO to the
proposed hotel, along WITH the woodland terrace folks, the regent
square folks, and the overwhelming opposition by neighbors at shca's
meeting on feb 13, is a conflict. in addition to that between the
neighbors and penn.
