The Francis Scott Key Elementary School at 8th and Wolf Sts. in South
Philadelphia.

I'll be starting my 22nd year there in September as an ESL Teacher.

"Links To Learning-Key School" is paraphrase of our title which is "Key
Links To Learning.

The site gets hit so much that one can google it by typing links to
learning.

That started happening about two years after we uploaded it.

My tech partner and I were asked by several principals to make a site like
that for their schools for pay.

The bottom line is they could not afford to pay for the work Marv and I did
and still do. We worked nights, weekends, holidays etc. because we wanted
the kids to have access to the Internet in a safe controlled environment
that would be used by students, faculty and parents.

We failures were apparently discovered by PAS and instead of re-inventing
the wheel, chose to link to our site from when the school opened. (for K-5)

Naturally, when I hear how poor Philadelphia teachers and schools are and I
get my dander up as I remember the highly resourceful U of Penn uses
resources my fellow teacher and I, (just the two of us), worked so hard to
create a better educational program.

Perhaps Penn knew a good thing when they saw one.
