Efficiency in refrigerators has increased substantially in the last 10-15
years, making purchase of a used one questionable b/c of increased electric
consumption.?
And water heaters can only last so long, so again buying one used, especially
when you don't know exactly how old it is, just shortens the time until it will
inevitably fail.? And when do people get rid of perfectly good water heaters?
And old stove might be worth it, to me.

Subject: [UC] Looking for stove, fridge and hot water heater

Our beloved chef Joey purchased a
two-story?house in this area and he is slowly fixing it up either to move
in or rent out.?Some of the last things he?needs are a stove, hot
water heater, and fridge (there is a water line to the fridge).

He's trying to decide between buying new (something
simple from a place like Lowe's), buying used from one of the many used
appliance places that can be found around here, or looking on Craig's list or
this list for some items.

All experiences / opinions are most welcome.?
And if you have one of these applicances that are in real good working
order?and you?are ready?to sell, please let me know and I'll pass
on the information.

Thanks in advance to everyone.

Roger and Vince
